The history of Zen and Spicy dates back to 1989 with the creation of the first very basic Tummour Restaurant under the Company name of Crazy Spicy. This served authentic Thai-Northeastern (Isaan) food which has reached the hearts of Thais and foreigners. Nowadays the restaurants are new modern chic and comfortable but still retain their authentic northeastern Thailand (Isaan) taste.
The Original Thai Food
Tummour was the first generation in the Isaan food market with the slogan “The Original Thai Food”. Because of our passion and experience in Thai Food preparation we have as of today branches spread all over Thailand and Internationally with a total of more than 150 units. The authentic taste of Thai food will be served in every single dish, so that everybody will know and appreciate what is truly the Authentic Thai Food.
On the back of the success of Tummour many other concepts were created such as Lao Yuan, JaewHon, Pho, Granny’s Chicken, and Krua Thai. Given the growth and success of the Group they formed a partnership with the famous Zen Corporation Group Co Ltd, an innovator of Japanese concepts and created Zen & Spicy Co Ltd.
